Tidbits

Both teams in the Series had the best record in their divisions in both the first half and second half of the season.

For the second year in a row, and third time in the last four years, the two teams leading their divisions after Game 5 went on to the World Series.

Max beat Joe in the regular season head-to-head season series 17-12-1 tie, however Joe won the last three games.

Joe scored 75 points or more in four of the last five regular season games.

This is Joe's first appearance in the World Series in his second year in the league.

This is Max's second appearance in the World Series. He lost to Move Along Betty (Avery) in 2000, 4 games to 3. He won his only league championship in 1990.

UPDATE: If Max does not win the World Series, he will tie the record of 17 consecutive seasons without a championship. (I'd have a partner in futility.)
